DRAM Process Integration Engineer
Role Summary
Work within DRAM process integration in a 300mm R&D environment to enable advanced DRAM technologies. Collaborate with process development, product engineering, design, yield, mask, and probe teams to optimize process flows, improve yield and manufacturability, and resolve device and circuit-level integration challenges.
Experience Level
Senior - 7β10+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience in process integration or device engineering.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include technology integration, data-driven yield improvement, and cross-functional leadership of technical problem solving.
- Lead technology integration activities to enable manufacturable advanced DRAM processes.
- Partner with process development, product engineering, design, yield, mask, and probe teams to resolve yield, performance, reliability, and margin issues.
- Design and execute R&D fab experiments and optimize process flows to meet product and technology requirements.
- Analyze inline, defect, parametric, and probe data to identify root causes and drive yield, performance, cost, and process-margin improvements.
- Lead cross-functional problem solving: summarize technical issues, develop solutions, and drive implementation.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.
- 7β10+ years of semiconductor process integration experience, with demonstrated expertise in device physics and process integration.
- Deep knowledge of mainstream memory technologies such as DRAM and their manufacturing implications.
- Strong understanding of process development and the interface between process integration, circuits, and memory architecture.
- Experience designing experiments and interpreting complex process and electrical data.
- Proven ability to lead technical problem solving and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience leading projects and cross-functional technical teams.
- Proficiency with data analysis, design of experiments (DOE), and statistical techniques.
- Experience with alternative memory technologies and using AI-assisted analytics for anomaly detection and yield improvement.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in an engineering field required (e.g., electrical, materials, chemical, or related engineering) with 7β10+ years of semiconductor experience; PhD in an engineering field preferred.
