Role Summary

Senior technical leader in Micron's DRAM Product Architecture Group responsible for global yield and quality outcomes for LPDRAM and SOCAMM products. The role requires cross-site coordination across fab, test, assembly, module, quality, and operations teams to drive data-based decisions across the full product lifecycle.

Serves as the primary owner of product health, leading responses to yield events and representing risks and recovery plans to leadership and customers.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in DRAM, semiconductor product engineering, or yield and quality roles.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of product health and cross-site execution:

  • Define and own global yield, quality, and product grade strategy for LPDRAM and SOCAMM products.
  • Lead yield improvement and disposition decisions using risk-based, data-driven methods.
  • Align and drive execution across fab, test, assembly, module, quality, and operations teams.
  • Represent product health, risks, and recovery plans in leadership and customer forums.
  • Lead coordinated response during yield events, excursions, and critical issues.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and core skills:

  • 3+ years experience in DRAM, semiconductor product engineering, or yield and quality roles.
  • Proven experience analyzing yield, quality, or manufacturing data and driving corrective actions.
  • Ability to lead technical issues across multiple functions and global teams.
  • Strong communication skills for representing product health to leadership and customers.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with LPDRAM, SOCAMM, or system-facing DRAM products.
  • Familiarity with DRAM failure modes, disposition strategies, and yield recovery methods.
  • Experience working across fab, backend test, assembly, or module interfaces.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership influencing decisions beyond direct ownership.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Fields referenced include electrical engineering and computer engineering; equivalent practical experience is explicitly accepted.
