Job Title

DRAM Design Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Validate DRAM compute products by preparing, executing, and analyzing silicon tests to verify functionality and reliability. Work with design, firmware, and test teams to identify and resolve silicon issues, expand validation coverage, and improve test methodology.

Use AI tools and automation to accelerate validation, improve coverage, and reduce schedule and cost.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Typical expectation: 2–5 years of relevant validation or silicon test experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing silicon validation and reporting technical findings.

• Prepare validation tests and hardware setups for silicon testing.
• Execute validation tests and analyze results for accuracy and completeness.
• Categorize and report silicon issues; support root cause analysis with design teams.
• Investigate functionality and margin-related test results and expand validation scope.
• Mitigate software and hardware limitations during validation by coordinating with design and test teams.
• Develop and apply AI or automation tools to improve processes and shorten schedules.

Requirements

Core technical skills and validation experience required; preferred items listed as nice-to-have.

• Must-have: Strong circuit-level understanding, including simulation and debugging of analog/digital interfaces.
• Must-have: Advanced proficiency in C, C++, and/or Python for test development and automation.
• Must-have: Hands-on experience with silicon validation, data analysis, and communicating technical results to design teams.
• Nice-to-have: Experience developing Python-based validation sequences and validation coverage methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with tester operation, margin analysis, and DRAM architecture/operation.
• Nice-to-have: Basic knowledge of AI techniques applied to test automation and data analysis.
• Role does not include authority for sales, contract negotiation, pricing, or contract execution decisions.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or a Master's degree (explicitly stated in minimum qualifications).
