Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned ISP / Video DRAM Access & Arbitration Design Engineer to join our SoC design team. This role involves architecting and developing end-to-end DRAM access pipelines, arbitration mechanisms, and bandwidth governance strategies to enhance image and video processing in advanced semiconductor products.

As part of the team, you will define micro architecture, traffic models, and performance KPIs to ensure efficient DRAM utilization and performance under complex workloads.

Experience Level

Mid-level with 2+ years of experience in ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting DRAM access pipelines for ISP and Video workloads.
  • Designing and optimizing arbitration and QoS mechanisms.
  • Developing performance and traffic models to analyze DRAM behavior.
  • Collaborating with various teams to align dataflows and QoS requirements.
  • Supporting verification and post-silicon validation efforts.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of DRAM systems and memory architecture.
  • Proficiency in RTL micro architecture and performance modeling using SystemVerilog, SystemC, C++, and/or Python.
  • Experience in analyzing bandwidth and latency in SoC environments.
  • Ability to drive designs from concept to silicon validation.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience with DRAM access design for ISP or video pipelines.
  • Background in NoC/MC arbitration and QoS tuning.
  • Familiarity with multi subsystem concurrency across camera and video.
  • Experience with post-silicon performance profiling and QoS analysis.
  • Strong cross-team communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
