Job Title

Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) — Process Development, Photolithography, NAND

Role Summary

Lead technical strategy for enterprise-wide photolithography process development for NAND memory at Fab 10N/X, Singapore. Provide technical leadership, define long-term technology roadmaps, de-risk novel lithography concepts, and mentor senior engineers across R&D and manufacturing.

Drive integration strategy and influence executive- and industry-level decisions to enable next-generation nodes and architectures.

Experience Level

Senior — senior technical leadership role. Requires extensive experience consistent with a DMTS: PhD with 615 years or Masters with 617 years of relevant experience (see Education Requirements).

Responsibilities

Accountable for long-term photolithography strategy, technical leadership, and cross-functional program execution.

  • Sponsor long-range pathfinding initiatives for future nodes and architectures.
  • Establish and steward enterprise-wide photolithography technology vision and strategic roadmaps.
  • De-risk novel lithography concepts and platforms through development and demonstration.
  • Serve as a technical authority across R&D and manufacturing; influence strategy at executive and industry levels.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-node, multi-site programs and integration efforts.
  • Mentor and develop senior engineers and next-generation technical leaders.
  • Steward intellectual property and set internal technical standards.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness where appropriate.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and leadership competencies.

  • Advanced proficiency with photolithography processes, equipment roadmaps, and cutting-edge metrology tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of optics, immersion lithography, polarized illumination, and low k1 imaging.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor process flows and memory architecture.
  • Proven record of industry-recognized innovation and technical leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, cross-site technical programs and influencing executive-level strategy.

Education Requirements

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field with 615 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree in those fields with 617 years of relevant experience. Related technical fields are acceptable.
