The Display IP Systems Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is an essential role tasked with driving the planning, verification, and debugging of the DCN (Display Controller Next) hardware IP for AMD's next-generation APU and dGPU SOC programs. The chosen candidate will contribute to the IP Systems Engineering Team, focusing on improving and innovating processes related to display technologies.
This position requires a dynamic and passionate individual who can operate independently while also thriving as part of a technical team. Collaboration with various supporting teams—design, diagnostics, emulation, firmware, and driver—will be crucial to ensure the functionality and readiness of the DCN IP for first silicon arrivals.
Qualified applicants should have an extensive background in digital logic/platform design, verification, or post-silicon verification. Candidates must possess strong programming/scripting skills and familiarity with ASIC debug techniques, lab equipment, and board/platform-level debug. Excellent communication abilities and a results-oriented mindset are crucial for success in this role.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. In-depth knowledge of PC architectures and an understanding of high-speed interfaces are advantageous. Leadership, mentoring skills, and flexibility in task management will be highly regarded.
