Role Overview
The AMD Computing and Graphics IP Systems Engineering Team is looking for an IP Systems Engineer. This role plays a critical part in enhancing AMD’s ability to deliver leading technologies to the market. You will be part of a dynamic team that promotes technical innovation and career development.
Professional Experience Level
This position is suitable for candidates with a mid-career level of experience, ideally with a strong background in digital logic or platform design and verification.
Main Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will:
- Define and implement functional test plans and verification strategies for AMD DCN IP.
- Drive technical innovations for enhancing validation processes, including developing tools and methodologies.
- Debug issues with DCN IP throughout various phases of SOC programs.
- Collaborate with teams in design, diagnostics, emulation, firmware, and driver support.
- Engage in pre-silicon verification efforts using emulation, design verification, and other modeling frameworks.
- Lead technical discussions to address technical issues and implement initiatives.
- Support customer platforms as needed.
Key Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- A proven background in digital logic design, verification, or post-silicon verification.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, or Python.
- Experience with ASIC debug methodologies and lab equipment.
- Knowledge of common high-speed interfaces and PC architectures.
- Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative working style.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required for this position.
