Role Summary

Lead development of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) solutions for Netpreme's first-generation MPU, covering silicon-to-system analysis and verification. This role is onsite at the Santa Clara or Boston office and works closely with silicon, package, PCB, architecture, and manufacturing teams to resolve SI/PI challenges.

Experience Level

Senior-level; requires 5+ years of direct industry experience.

Responsibilities

Technical leadership and hands-on execution across SI/PI for high-speed interfaces and memory subsystems.

• Develop SI/PI technical solutions, system-level architecture, design guidelines, and layout recommendations.
• Perform end-to-end channel simulations for high-speed serial interfaces and memory subsystems.
• Lead SI/PI analysis and optimization of DDR5, LPDDR5, LPDDR6, and other high-performance memory interfaces.
• Correlate simulations with lab measurements and drive root-cause analysis of signal and power integrity issues.
• Collaborate with silicon, package, PCB, architecture, and manufacturing teams to resolve complex SI/PI challenges.
• Evaluate package and PCB technologies to support next-generation products.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.

Requirements

Must-have skills, tools, and experience.

• 5+ years of direct industry experience in SI/PI or related engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in signal integrity; working knowledge of power integrity concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with DDR, LPDDR, or other high-performance memory interfaces.
• Hands-on experience performing lab measurements and correlating hardware results to simulation models.
• Experience with SI/PI analysis tools such as ADS and HFSS; HSPICE is a plus.
• Experience with PCB, package, and IC-level power delivery networks.
• Experience in FPGA, adaptive computing, ASIC, networking, datacenter, or high-performance computing platforms is preferred.
• Proven ability to independently drive technical decisions, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and effective cross-functional communication.
• Experience with programming for modeling/automation (Python, C++, or Matlab).

Education Requirements

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
