Role Summary
Lead product strategy for Synopsys ICV PERC (Programmable Electrical Rule Checking) targeting established process nodes and their interaction with advanced nodes. Build and influence a product team, coordinate with R&D and Sales, and drive market adoption across foundries, fabless companies, and IP vendors.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 15+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience.
Responsibilities
Own strategy, alignment, and execution for ICV PERC in established-node designs and how they integrate with advanced-node workflows.
- Define and execute product strategy for established-node PERC and its interactions with advanced-node initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and influence a team of technical product managers within the Established Nodes ICV PERC organization.
- Align product requirements and roadmaps with PMG executive leadership, R&D, and global Sales.
- Train and support Technical Sales to develop customer benchmarks and drive new business opportunities.
- Advise R&D on interpreting PERC elements of design rules so they can be efficiently implemented in ICV design kits.
- Drive partnerships and collaborative initiatives with ecosystem partners and foundries.
- Represent Synopsys externally to advance ICV PERC positioning in the 3D and chiplet market.
- Execute individual-contributor projects as required to accelerate strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Key qualifications and demonstrable skills required for success in this role.
- 15+ years of EDA or semiconductor product management and marketing experience.
- Deep understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem, including foundry processes and PERC design rules.
- Experience interpreting and negotiating Foundry PERC Design Rule Manuals to guide R&D implementation.
- Proven ability to create and scale a product management team and work with senior management and global sales.
- Established industry relationships within PERC organizations at major semiconductor companies.
- Strong influencing, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive results independently and lead teams under time pressure.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to engage customers and technical sales.
Education Requirements
BS in Electrical Engineering and/or Device Physics required. MS in a related field is desired.
