Director, Product Management

Role Summary

Lead product management for virtual prototyping, hardware emulation, and hybrid hardware/software co-simulation platforms. Define product strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market execution to drive adoption and revenue.

Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and customers to align product capabilities with market needs and ensure successful product rollouts.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 10 years of related product management experience in EDA, semiconductor, or hardware prototyping industries.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include product strategy, roadmap execution, and cross-functional leadership.

  • Define and execute strategic product roadmaps and vision.
  • Develop business and technical strategy, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Create and coordinate sales collateral, competitive analysis, product rollouts, and sales training.
  • Drive significant revenue growth through market-aligned product initiatives.
  • Differentiate product positioning and influence product direction based on market and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize features and influence technical decisions.
  • Build and lead high-performing product teams and coordinate across a matrix organization.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Deep technical understanding of silicon architecture, System-on-Chip analysis, design optimization, emulation, and hardware/software co-design.
  • Proven track record of launching, managing, and growing products in EDA, semiconductor, or hardware prototyping domains.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with engineers, executives, and customers.
  • Experience defining pricing, packaging, and go-to-market activities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with silicon IP, sub-systems, and pre-silicon validation lifecycles.
  • Experience operating in a matrix organization and building cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
