Role Summary

Lead architecture and delivery for EDA and memory-development software, managing a team of developers and architects to produce high-quality, high-performance tools. Coordinate across engineering teams to define technical direction, remove blockers, and ensure successful product launches.

This role combines hands-on engineering judgment with strategic leadership and team mentoring.

Experience Level

Senior - 15+ years of software development and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical architecture, team leadership, and delivery management.

• Analyze requirements and design robust software architectures and data models.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers and architects; grow technical capability.
• Create data models, flowcharts, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
• Oversee software releases and ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and security targets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to align design and integration.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve development processes and workflows.
• Influence project direction, drive technology adoption, and improve tool performance.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and leadership experience; listed nice-to-have items separately.

• Minimum 15 years of software development and engineering leadership experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills; experience with data structures and algorithm design.
• Experience with database systems and SQL.
• Proficiency on Linux development platforms.
• Experience in EDA tool development and memory-related software is expected.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate technical teams and deliver projects.

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience with SPICE simulation and cell/logic characterization.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent degree) or equivalent practical experience.
