Role Summary

Lead product management and commercialization for GlobalFoundries' superconducting electronics and quantum compute platform portfolio. Own product strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans while coordinating customers, partners, and QTS process development to scale research prototypes into manufacturable quantum systems.

Experience Level

Senior - requires 10+ years of product management, strategic marketing, business leadership, or technology commercialization experience in semiconductors, superconducting electronics, advanced packaging, or quantum technologies.

Responsibilities

Drive portfolio definition, customer engagement, and commercialization for superconducting quantum and electronics platforms.

• Own product strategy, roadmap, business growth, and profitability for GF's superconducting quantum and superconducting electronics portfolio.
• Define modality-specific offerings: process technologies, integration flows, design enablement, and manufacturing solutions to scale quantum processors and novel compute architectures.
• Engage strategic customers and partners to capture architecture roadmaps, technical and commercialization requirements.
• Translate customer needs into market requirements, platform specifications, and technology priorities for QTS development teams.
• Develop go-to-market plans, business cases, ecosystem partnerships, and strategic customer engagements to accelerate platform adoption.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive developments to guide portfolio investment decisions.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and practical skills required to perform the role; followed by preferred skills.

• Must-have: 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, strategic marketing, business leadership, or technology commercialization within semiconductors, superconducting electronics, advanced packaging, or quantum technologies.
• Must-have: Demonstrated P&L ownership and a track record of launching and scaling complex technology platforms from concept to commercialization.
• Must-have: Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, process technology development, superconducting materials and device architectures.
• Must-have: Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams across business, engineering, and R&D organizations; strong customer-facing and executive communication skills.
• Must-have: Willingness to travel approximately 25% or more.
• Nice-to-have: Direct experience with superconducting devices, superconducting electronics, cryogenic quantum compute modalities (ion trap, spin qubits), or similar advanced quantum hardware.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with quantum hardware architectures, scaling/manufacturability challenges, and working with startups, hyperscalers, research institutions, or government-funded programs.
• Nice-to-have: Existing network in the global quantum ecosystem and experience establishing strategic technology partnerships.

Education Requirements

Advanced degree (Master's, PhD, or equivalent) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Materials Science, Quantum Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required. Preferred: MBA or equivalent business leadership experience.
