Role Summary

Lead the High-Performance AI and Compute (HPAC) business in China within the Performance Computing Power division. Own China strategy, business development, and revenue growth for power IC solutions targeting AI, data center, server, and networking customers.

The role manages a China marketing team (direct reports) and an applications engineering team (dotted-line reports), and coordinates global Sales, Applications, Product, Marketing, and Operations to secure design wins and scale revenue.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Lead commercial, product, and cross-functional execution in China to secure design wins and revenue growth.

• Define and execute HPAC China strategy, segment priorities, design-win targets, and revenue goals.
• Develop deep customer insight and market intelligence for cloud, AI, server, and networking customers in China.
• Build and maintain relationships with technical, business, and procurement leaders at CSPs, AI companies, OEMs/ODMs.
• Direct China Sales and FAE teams on opportunity development from engagement through design win, qualification, and production.
• Translate customer requirements into product/portfolio recommendations and align Product Management and Engineering on roadmaps.
• Manage cross-functional execution: align Product, Engineering, Applications, Sales, Marketing, and Operations on China priorities.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing China marketing and applications engineering organization; present strategy and pipeline to senior leadership.
• Identify and manage export-control, trade-compliance, and supply-chain localization requirements in coordination with Legal and Operations.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership experience, plus language and interpersonal skills.

• Must have: 15+ years in marketing, product management, business development, or related roles in power semiconductors or closely related industries.
• Must have: Hands-on experience managing and launching products for data center, server, telecom, networking, or compute markets.
• Must have: Proven people leadership, including hiring and leading marketing and technical teams with direct and dotted-line reporting relationships.
• Must have: Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and market adoption.
• Nice to have: Established relationships in China’s cloud, AI, or server ecosystem.
• Nice to have: Working knowledge of power management applications and products.
• Fluent Mandarin and English, written and spoken.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, influence across global teams, and change leadership skills.

Education Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field is specified. MS or MBA is listed as a plus. The posting does not state alternative "equivalent experience" language for replacing a degree.
