Role Summary
Lead design verification strategy and teams for complex Edge AI digital SoC projects in Bangalore. Responsible for verification architecture, cross-team coordination, and delivering first-pass silicon success across multiple product lines.
Role includes technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration with EDA vendors and industry forums, and travel up to 10%.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 15+ years of verification experience with complex digital SoC designs; experience leading verification teams and major verification initiatives.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include defining verification strategy, leading teams, and driving verification quality and industry engagement.
- Define verification strategy and architecture for Edge AI digital designs and multiple concurrent projects.
- Develop and deploy verification methodologies and frameworks to improve effectiveness and drive coverage closure.
- Manage and scale verification teams; plan resources and deliver across parallel projects.
- Collaborate with design, product, test engineering, silicon validation, and software teams to ensure first-pass silicon success and production readiness.
- Lead debugging and resolution of complex verification issues across RTL, system-level, and gate-level abstractions.
- Mentor and develop verification engineers; establish best practices and verification metrics.
- Engage with EDA vendors and industry forums to influence verification tools and standards.
- Establish organization-wide verification quality standards and metrics.
- Travel up to 10% as required.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, leadership abilities, and domain expertise.
- Expert-level SystemVerilog and UVM for architecting complex verification environments.
- Proven ability to develop comprehensive verification strategies and achieve coverage-driven verification closure across multiple product lines.
- Deep understanding of digital SoC design: processors, interconnect/fabric, AHB/AXI protocols, memory, security, boot, and peripheral interfaces.
- Advanced RTL, system-level, and gate-level debugging skills.
- Track record of developing and implementing new verification methodologies and frameworks.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, cross-organizational influence, and mentorship experience.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills for high-impact verification challenges.
Education Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. (Preferred; alternative equivalent experience not specified.)
