Role Summary
Senior leader in the Technology Platforms and Advanced Development group within the Advanced Cellular business unit. Leads a team of Technical Project Managers to plan, prioritize, and execute advanced development (AD), technology development (TD), and platform (XP) projects from concept through release.
Works cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, quality, test, supply chain and business teams to deliver complex semiconductor development programs on schedule and within budget.
Experience Level
Senior (Management). Typically requires 10+ years of technical project/program management experience and demonstrated leadership of technical teams.
Responsibilities
Accountable for delivering advanced technology and platform development programs and for developing the program management team and processes.
- Lead and mentor program/project managers responsible for new technology, advanced development, and platform projects from concept to product release.
- Manage project selection, prioritization, scope, budgets, resource allocation, and schedule predictability.
- Implement and scale project management best practices and continuous improvement activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, reliability, support engineering, operations, supply chain) to resolve technical issues and meet release targets.
- Own PDE (Product Development Engine) deliverables and gate approvals for AD, TD and XP projects; drive improvements to PDE and PM processes.
- Present project status to internal and external stakeholders and oversee fiscal project budgets and resource stewardship.
- Resolve schedule conflicts and prioritize work center allocations for new technology and platform development.
Requirements
Must-have technical and management skills and experience for successful execution of semiconductor development programs.
- 10+ years of technical project/program management experience in semiconductor or related industries.
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing technical teams and program managers.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and device physics.
- Knowledge of RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design fundamentals.
- Experience with SOI and CMOS technology platforms and integration considerations.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a focus on continuous improvement, process discipline, and detail orientation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive, collaborative environment.

Education Requirements
MS in Project Management (PMI certification preferred); BS or MS in Electrical Engineering. These degrees and PMI certification were specified in the source posting.
