Digital Verification Intern - Summer 2027
Role Summary
Intern will support the digital verification team at the Austin Oakhill office by developing and executing verification tests, running simulations, debugging issues, and documenting results. The role involves collaboration with design and methodology teams to improve verification coverage and resolve issues.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship for current undergraduate or master's students; student status required for the internship term.
Responsibilities
Work under team guidance to verify digital designs and document outcomes.
- Develop test scenarios, run simulations, and analyze results.
- Assist debugging of design issues and maintain test environments.
- Collaborate with design and methodology teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare concise reports and documentation summarizing findings and next steps.
- Contribute to improving verification practices and team learning.
Requirements
Key skills and attributes needed for success in the internship.
- Must-have: Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
- Must-have: Familiarity with engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Must-have: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly in English (written and spoken).
- Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline. Applicants must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship (summer 2027); if graduating before July 2027, apply to entry-level full-time roles instead.
