Digital System Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The Digital System Verification Engineer will perform design verification using UVM for complex module and system designs in Verilog. The role involves collaborating with architects and developers to ensure system requirements are met through comprehensive test benches, and designing verification strategies to enhance customer experience.

Experience Level

Mid-level; a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Utilizing UVM for verification of complex module and system designs in Verilog.
• Implementing verification in Verilog and System Verilog.
• Designing and defining complex system requirements for customers.
• Coordinating the design of subsystems and integrating the total system.
• Mentoring interns and new hires.
• Participating in reviews and discussions about computer architecture tradeoffs.
• Ensuring maximum code coverage.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

• Proficiency in UVM, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.
• Experience in Linux.
• Knowledge of software programming languages such as C++, Shell Scripting, and Python.
• Understanding of Computer Architecture.
• Familiarity with Synopsys/QuestaSim and Vivado Design Suite.
• Experience with communication protocols, including AXI and CPI.

Education Requirements

A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferred.
