Role Summary

Support physical implementation activities for digital/ASIC designs under guidance from senior engineers. Work with design, verification, and methodology teams to execute layout tasks, run checks, and document results to help meet project milestones.

Experience Level

Internship / Entry-level — summer internship intended for current undergraduate or master's students; student-level experience expected.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Contribute to layout implementation, design data preparation, and physical design checks under guidance.
• Assist with timing, power, quality, and rule-check related tasks using standard EDA and engineering tools.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and methodology teams to resolve routine issues and improve design quality.
• Document design flows, results, and lessons learned for project use.
• Support structured execution, technical learning, and achievement of project milestones.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions related to engineering or design.
• Familiarity with engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools and a willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good written and spoken English.

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline. Candidates must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship; if graduating prior to July 2027, apply to entry-level full-time roles.
