Role Summary

Participate in physical design tasks for integrated circuits under the guidance of senior engineers. Work focuses on layout implementation, design checks, timing/power/quality-related tasks, and cross-team collaboration to support successful project execution.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship for students; intended as a learning and contribution role with mentorship.

Responsibilities

Support physical design and verification activities and help maintain design quality.

• Perform layout implementation, design data preparation, and rule checks under supervision.
• Assist with timing, power, quality, and rule-check tasks using standard engineering tools.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and methodology teams to resolve routine issues.
• Document design flows, results, and lessons learned for project use.
• Contribute to structured execution and meet project milestones while developing technical skills.

• Must-have: Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline. Applicants must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term (spring 2027); if graduating prior to May 2027, applicants should consider entry-level full-time roles instead.
