Digital IC Design Engineering Intern - Bachelors

Role Summary

Work as an intern on a product development team contributing to architecture, design, modeling, implementation and documentation of digital integrated circuits. Support prototype characterization, test specification development and coordination with test/product engineering across domains such as audio, imaging, high-speed interfaces, clocking, automotive, storage and power management.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship for undergraduate students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities for this internship include:

  • Partner with business and system engineering teams to develop design specifications
  • Provide high-level analysis of chip architecture trade-offs for performance and cost
  • Participate in design reviews and produce required design and product documentation
  • Develop and drive behavioral models
  • Coordinate with IC layout teams to meet performance targets
  • Characterize prototypes, develop test specifications and work with test/product engineering to support releases

Education Requirements
