Digital IC Design Engineer (New Grad)

Role Summary

Design and implement digital and mixed-signal ASIC/SoC blocks for power-management and related applications. Work within the digital design team and collaborate with analog designers, test engineering, and applications engineers to deliver production-ready silicon.

Entry-level — targeted at new graduates and early-career engineers.

Responsibilities

Primary engineering tasks and cross-functional collaboration expected for the role:

• Design and implement digital logic: RTL coding, synthesis, and timing closure.
• Perform formal verification and static timing analysis (STA).
• Collaborate with analog, TE, and application engineering to integrate mixed-signal designs.
• Support FPGA-based verification and sample testing.
• Apply design-for-test (DFT) methodologies and equivalence checking (LEC) as required.

Requirements

Core technical and interpersonal requirements. Items labeled "preferred" are not mandatory.

• Familiarity with digital design tools and processes: digital simulation, synthesis, DFT, LEC, STA.
• Proficiency with scripting and environments: Perl, TCL, Unix, Python.
• Good English reading, writing, and spoken communication; able to work in a team.
• Able to follow engineering/process rules and complete tasks to a high standard.
• Prior ASIC design or verification experience preferred but not required.

Education Requirements

Field of study expected: microelectronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field. Degree level is not specified in the posting; new graduates are the intended candidates.
