Senior - typically requires 10+ years of relevant IC design, RTL, or DV experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and supporting digital IP across the product lifecycle.
- Define and refine micro-architecture for digital IP blocks.
- Develop RTL and associated quality-control flows.
- Create and drive IP verification plans; support functional debug with verification team.
- Collaborate with third-party IP vendors on requirements, delivery, and quality.
- Support silicon bring-up, test program development, and customer/application debug.
- Optimize IP for area, power, and performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to take IP from concept to production.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.
- 10+ years of experience in digital design/RTL/DV development.
- Hands-on front-end design experience of complex multi-clock-domain IP blocks.
- Ability to convert high-level system requirements into micro-architectural designs and RTL.
- Proficiency in Verilog.
- Experience with lint tools, clock-domain crossing (CDC) checkers, synthesis flows, and timing closure.
- Experience with simulation and waveform debug tools (e.g., Cadence SimVision).
- Experience with RTL development workflows and QC practices.
