Digital Engineer
Role Summary
The Digital Engineer will join the IoT Digital Design team responsible for architecture, design, verification, emulation and implementation of Wireless MCU SoCs. The role focuses on digital and mixed-signal verification, SoC integration, and developing embedded firmware for validation.
The team builds low-power wireless SoCs including custom RISC-V cores, security, power management and radios for IoT applications. This position is hybrid; the office is located above Tai Seng MRT station in Singapore.
Experience Level
Entry-level - 0–2 years of verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include block- and system-level verification, integration testing, firmware-based validation, and documentation.
- Perform block-level verification using directed, random, and assertion-based techniques.
- Verify SoC integration and infrastructure, including system-level test and validation.
- Verify mixed-signal and RF IP integration; develop mixed-signal models and run cosimulation.
- Develop embedded firmware to exercise and validate SoC integration and bring-up.
- Participate in requirements, architecture, design, and verification reviews.
- Produce customer-facing reference manual and datasheet material.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience for successful performance in the role.
- 0–2 years of verification experience (block-level or SoC-level).
- Practical experience with assertion-based verification and directed/random test methodologies.
- Experience with SoC integration and infrastructure verification.
- Experience or familiarity with mixed-signal/RF IP integration and cosimulation.
- Ability to develop embedded firmware for validation and bring-up.
- Strong documentation and review skills for requirements, architecture and design.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with RISC-V cores, AI/ML components, or wireless SoC domains.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
