Job Title

Digital Design Verification Engineer — Precision ADC

Role Summary

Verify digital logic, calibration algorithms, and mixed-signal interfaces for high-precision delta-sigma ADC signal chains. Work on SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, constrained-random stimulus, functional coverage, and regression campaigns.

Collaborate closely with analog and RTL design teams to debug failures, participate in design and verification reviews, and improve mixed-signal verification methodology.

Experience Level

Entry-level — minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in digital design or verification.

Responsibilities

Primary hands-on verification tasks and team collaboration.

  • Develop SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification environments.
  • Create constrained-random stimulus and functional coverage models.
  • Write and maintain assertions and verification scenarios (SVA, etc.).
  • Run regression campaigns and triage simulation failures.
  • Debug with EDA simulation tools and waveform viewers in coordination with RTL and analog engineers.
  • Participate in verification and design reviews; present findings and recommendations.

Requirements

Must-have skills and relevant experience, followed by preferred (nice-to-have) items.

  • Must-have: 2+ years of relevant digital design or verification experience.
  • Familiarity with SystemVerilog and hardware simulation.
  • Understanding of digital logic design fundamentals.
  • Ability to analyze failures and solve problems using a systematic approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate results.
  • Nice-to-have: UVM-based testbench experience, constrained-random testing, functional coverage, SVA, experience with VCS/Xcelium/Questa, analog/mixed-signal concepts (ADC architectures, noise, sampling), scripting for test automation (Python/Perl), strong time management and initiative.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required (as stated). No alternative degree-equivalent language was provided.
