Digital Design - PD Engineer
Role Summary
Design and verify digital integrated circuits and system-level architecture for TI products. Work with cross-functional teams to define specifications, implement behavioral models, and support prototype characterization toward product release.
Experience Level
Entry-level - targeted for new college graduates participating in TI's 12-month TMG Development program / Career Accelerator Program.
Responsibilities
Typical duties include technical design, verification, and cross-team coordination:
- Define and model digital circuits to meet performance, power, cost, and schedule targets.
- Analyze architecture trade-offs and provide high-level design guidance.
- Participate in design reviews and maintain design documentation.
- Supervise IC layouts to meet performance standards.
- Characterize prototypes and develop test specifications with test/product engineering.
- Develop and drive behavioral models and simulators (CPU/DSP/ISA-related work mentioned).

- Must be authorized to work in India; Texas Instruments will not sponsor visas for this position.
- Willingness to participate in TI's Career Accelerator Program (CAP) and the 12-month TMG Development program for new graduates.
- Familiarity with digital IC design concepts, modeling, or verification through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical results clearly.
- Preferred: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, initiative, and time-management to meet project schedules.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree (required) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher. Role is targeted to new college graduates (TI's entry-level TMG Development program).
