Digital Design Lead Engineer

Role Summary

Lead digital design work for high-speed mixed-signal communication ICs. Work with analog and digital teams to design, verify, and bring up high-performance digital interfaces and subsystems that interact with cutting-edge analog circuitry and process technologies.

Primary activities include RTL development, verification, timing closure, and cross-domain debugging from behavioral models down to circuit-level interactions.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities for delivering digital blocks within mixed-signal communication chips.

• Develop RTL (Verilog) code and create testbenches for simulation and verification.
• Perform synthesis, timing closure, and gate-level verification.
• Evaluate and debug digital and mixed-signal behavior at behavioral and circuit levels.
• Prepare test methods, specifications, and contribute to data sheets and demo board development.
• Collaborate with analog and digital designers; present results and participate in cross-functional work groups.
• Plan and organize multiple tasks to meet project milestones and delivery dates.
