Digital Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and verify digital integrated circuits and chip-level architecture for new TI products. Work areas include CPU/DSP processor design, MMU and coherent multicore shared memory/cache systems, CPU simulator development, ISA architecture, and verification.
New hires participate in TI's Career Accelerator Program (CAP) during the first year for technical and professional onboarding.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include architecture, design, modeling and verification of digital circuits and systems:
- Define, design, model and verify digital circuits to meet performance, power, cost and schedule targets.
- Architect and implement 64-bit DSP processors, MMU, and heterogeneous multicore shared memory and cache systems including coherent DSP and ARM processors.
- Contribute to CPU simulator development, ISA architecture and verification activities.
- Partner with business teams and system engineering to establish design specifications.
- Provide high-level analysis of architecture trade-offs to ensure spec compliance and target performance.
- Participate in design reviews and produce required design and product documentation.
- Supervise IC layout activities and characterize prototypes; develop test specifications and coordinate with test/product engineering.
- Develop and drive behavioral models.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher was specified.
