Digital Design Engineer
Role Summary
Work on digital and mixed-signal IC/ASIC design as part of Analog Devices' Beijing design team. Deliver RTL implementations, digital architecture, DSP block designs, and support block- and system-level simulation and verification.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Graduate position. Suitable for recent master's or PhD graduates; specific years of experience not specified.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include:
- Perform chip- and block-level RTL design and implementation.
- Design digital signal-processing blocks from system/algorithm requirements.
- Define digital architecture to meet product specifications.
- Support block- and system-level digital and mixed-signal simulation.
- Develop block- and system-level digital/mixed-signal testbenches.
Requirements
Key must-have and desirable skills:
- Must-have: Solid knowledge of digital logic design and implementation.
- Must-have: Strong understanding of computer architecture and digital signal processing concepts.
- Must-have: In-depth understanding of CPU/DSP/NPU design.
- Must-have: Understanding of digital verification methodologies.
- Must-have: Strong problem-solving ability, self-motivation, teamwork and communication skills; good spoken and written English.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with bus protocols (AXI/AHB/APB).
- Nice-to-have: Experience with SRAM/Flash/SDRAM/DDR memory and cache design.
- Nice-to-have: Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl, C shell).
- Desirable: Experience using AI-powered tools to improve work efficiency.
Education Requirements
MSEE or PhD in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (graduate-level qualification expected).
