Digital Design Engineer
Role Summary
As a Digital Design Engineer on the digital design team in Hyderabad, you will design and implement digital integrated circuits and industry-standard interfaces, owning small projects and modules through specification, implementation, and verification.
Position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams; occasional travel (~10%).
Experience Level
Mid-level - 2–4 years of relevant digital design experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include design, verification, and implementation of digital blocks and interfaces.
- Perform RTL design and verification of digital modules using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Execute the complete digital design flow from specification through implementation.
- Run synthesis and static timing analysis to achieve timing closure.
- Design and implement digital interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART).
- Develop scripts and automation to improve design workflows.
- Collaborate with analog, verification, and system teams to meet requirements.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and verification results.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience.
- Proficient digital circuit design with ability to independently implement modules.
- Practical experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog for RTL implementation and verification.
- Experience using EDA tools for synthesis, simulation, and verification.
- Working knowledge of static timing analysis and timing closure methodologies.
- Familiarity with common digital interface protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Tcl) for design automation.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field - or equivalent practical experience.
