Digital Design Architect — HPC IP

Role Summary

Senior ASIC digital architect responsible for RTL architecture and verification of high-performance interface IP used in HPC and data-center silicon.

Work with cross-functional teams to define design plans, implement high-speed IO protocols, and drive technical direction for IP products.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include architecture, implementation, verification, and team leadership.

• Define and develop ASIC RTL design and verification at block and chip levels.
• Create and execute design plans for complex digital IP, focusing on high-speed IO (DDR, PCIe, CXL, UCIe, Ethernet).
• Collaborate with system, analog, software, and product teams to ensure integration and functionality.
• Apply advanced design and verification methodologies and tools to meet quality and performance targets.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and drive continuous technical improvement.
• Communicate technical direction and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional capabilities.

• Extensive hands-on ASIC RTL design and verification experience.
• In-depth knowledge of high-speed IO protocols: DDR, PCIe, UCIe, CXL, Ethernet, and similar interfaces.
• Proficiency with modern digital design and verification methodologies and tools.
• Proven problem-solving ability and capability to work independently on complex issues.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers and promoting technical excellence.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) is specified.
