DFx-DV Engineer

Role Overview

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking a DFx-DV Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge silicon solutions. This position focuses on integrating and implementing memory architectures using Synopsys STAR Memory System, with an emphasis on achieving optimal memory yield and test coverage.

Scope of Work

The role encompasses working collaboratively with various teams including DFT, PD, DV, and firmware to ensure a seamless process from RTL integration to production silicon while enhancing memory reliability and performance.

Experience Level

This position is aimed at candidates with a strong background in silicon design and embedded memory systems, specifically requiring experience with DFT/DFX-DV methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Synopsys STAR Memory System solutions for embedded memories.
• Oversee MBIST, BISR, and redundancy repair flows.
• Define memory test architectures with a focus on March algorithms and repair analysis.
• Integrate SMS IP with SoC reset, clock, and power domains as well as firmware for status reporting.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering and possess hands-on experience in silicon design and memory BIST solutions, specifically with Synopsys STAR Memory System.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering is required.
