Role Summary

The DFT RTL Design and Integration Engineer is responsible for developing logic design, RTL coding, simulation, and supporting DFT timing closure. The role involves defining and implementing SoC debug fabrics and developing automation tools to enhance design and integration processes.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with 5+ years of experience in Design-for-Test (DFT) methodologies.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing logic design and Register Transfer Level (RTL) coding.
  • Providing DFT timing closure support.
  • Defining and implementing SOC debug fabrics including TAP and Scan.
  • Creating automatic tools to streamline design and integration.
  • Collaborating with Architecture and manufacturing teams to enhance DFT capabilities.
  • Defining validation activities to improve coverage and design quality.
  • Establishing DFT requirements for IPs in compliance with SoC quality standards.
  • Developing high-volume manufacturing content for Pre Si environments and real Silicon.
  • Driving coverage improvements and reducing design power metrics.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DFT methodologies.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with scan insertion and related flows.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
