Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include defining and delivering DFT solutions across the chip lifecycle and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Design and implement comprehensive DFT architectures and integration plans.
- Implement scan chains and MBIST at full-chip level using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Develop and execute DFT verification plans, including pattern generation and fault simulation.
- Collaborate with RTL, physical design, test, and product engineering teams to resolve DFT issues.
- Lead DFT implementation efforts and act as primary point of contact for DFT-related inquiries and customer requirements.
- Document DFT architecture, verification results, and implementation decisions.
- Support silicon bring-up and delivery of qualified silicon to customers.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience and skills for the role. Educational degree details are summarized separately under Education Requirements.
- 9+ years of hands-on DFT experience with proven leadership in DFT implementation and team guidance.
- Deep knowledge of advanced DFT techniques and full-chip DFT flows.
- Practical experience with scan insertion, MBIST insertion, pattern generation, and fault simulation.
- Experience using industry-standard EDA tools for DFT implementation and verification.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with customers and internal product teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience driving DFT on very large designs or multi-die systems.
- Familiarity with advanced techniques (in-system test, SSN, multi-die testing).
- Silicon debug experience related to DFT and test development.
- Experience developing DFT tools and methodologies.
Education Requirements
Posting lists degree-based qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Science/Engineering or related) with ~4+ years, Master's degree with ~3+ years, or PhD with ~2+ years in Science, Engineering or related fields. The role-specific section cites BTech/MTech in Electrical Engineering or related field with 9+ years of DFT experience.
