Job Title

DFT Engineer, Graviton Team

Role Summary

Design and verify design-for-test (DFT) architectures and test infrastructure for Graviton SoC platforms at Annapurna Labs (an AWS team). The role focuses on DFT implementation, test pattern development, verification, and silicon bring-up to support cloud-scale compute devices.

Experience Level

Mid-level (3+ years) β€” requires at least 3 years of DFT experience in a semiconductor company.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement advanced DFT architectures for complex SoC platforms.
  • Develop high-quality test and debug patterns and maintain robust test coverage.
  • Perform static timing analysis across multiple DFT modes.
  • Verify DFT logic and components using gate-level simulation and ATPG flows.
  • Support silicon bring-up, device diagnostics, and debug on FPGA/emulator or silicon.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a DFT engineer in a semiconductor company.
  • Experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog; strong DFT implementation knowledge.
  • Familiarity with scan insertion tools, ATPG, and gate-level simulation flows.
  • Verification experience with UVM testbenches and FPGA/emulator environments.
  • Scripting proficiency (Perl, Tcl) for automation and tooling.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with streaming scan network technologies or equivalent SSN implementations.
  • Previous work on large compute or cloud-focused SoC projects.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
