Job Title

DFT Engineer, Graviton Team

Role Summary

Join the Annapurna Labs / AWS Graviton team to design and implement Design-for-Test (DFT) architectures for advanced semiconductor platforms that support AWS compute infrastructure. The role focuses on DFT architecture, test pattern development, verification, timing analysis, and silicon bring-up.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” requires at least 3 years of relevant DFT experience in a semiconductor company.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing DFT solutions, creating test/debug patterns, and supporting silicon validation and diagnostics.

  • Design and implement advanced DFT architectures for complex SoCs and platforms.
  • Develop high-quality test and debug patterns to ensure robust device performance.
  • Perform comprehensive static timing analysis across multiple DFT modes.
  • Verify DFT logic and components, including scan networks and test infrastructure.
  • Support silicon bring-up, device diagnostics, and debug during prototype and production phases.
  • Collaborate with chip design, validation, and system teams to integrate test solutions.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience are listed first; preferred skills follow.

  • Must-have: Minimum 3 years as a DFT engineer in a semiconductor company.
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience with scan insertion, ATPG, and gate-level simulations.
  • Must-have: Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog for test logic and DFT hooks.
  • Must-have: Experience developing test and debug patterns and performing static timing analysis for DFT modes.
  • Must-have: Experience supporting silicon bring-up and device diagnostics.
  • Preferred: Experience with UVM testbenches, FPGA/emulator environments, and verification platforms.
  • Preferred: Advanced scripting skills (Perl, Tcl) for automation and flow development.
  • Preferred: Broad chip-design experience and familiarity with emulation/FPGA prototyping.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. The posting explicitly allows equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
