Work across design, verification, implementation, ATE and product teams to improve testability and production yield.

Experience Level

Senior-level. The posting requires substantial industry experience (see Education Requirements for degree-specific experience requirements).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with ATE engineers on yield improvement and failure analysis.
  • Develop ATE patterns, manage hand-off processes, and perform silicon debugging.
  • Participate in block- and chip-level DFT implementation and delivery of related tasks.
  • Perform DFT lint checks, MBIST architecture work, logic and scan insertion using industry tools.
  • Run ATPG and pattern simulation for MBIST and scan-based tests.
  • Work with design, verification, implementation, ATE and product teams during DFT design and silicon bring-up.
  • Contribute to improving DFT design methodology and cross-functional processes.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Experience in silicon bring-up and yield improvement.
  • Solid understanding of DFT techniques and digital logic fundamentals.
  • Proven experience with RTL lint checking, scan compression, scan insertion, and the ATPG process.
  • Experience in MBIST architecture and insertion.
  • Experience analyzing and debugging simulation failures.
  • Strong knowledge of Mentor Tessent and/or Synopsys DFT and simulation tool suites.
  • Proficiency with Perl or other scripting languages for test and data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience developing STA constraints for DFT modes.

Education Requirements
