Design Verification - Senior Staff Engineer
Role Summary
Lead verification activities for SoC blocks and SOC-level integration, driving verification strategy from specification through tape-out. Work with design, architecture, and pre/post-silicon teams to ensure correctness and coverage for CPU, DDR, multimedia, interconnects, security, peripherals, and power domains.

Senior - expected experience: 12+ years in SoC verification.
Responsibilities
Own verification planning and execution for assigned blocks and SOC-level tasks; provide technical leadership.
- Lead and execute block and SOC verification plans across multiple domains (CPU, DDR, multimedia, interconnects, security, peripherals, power).
- Develop and enhance testbenches and verification environments using advanced automation.
- Drive SOC-level verification from specification phase through tape-out.
- Perform DV closure using C, SystemVerilog, UVM-based tests.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to resolve specification gaps and integration issues.
- Mentor and guide junior verification engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Continuously improve verification processes and methodologies.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex verification and integration issues.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.
- Must-have: 12+ years of SoC verification experience.
- Proficiency in C, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
- Scripting experience (Python, Perl, or similar).
- Strong understanding of microarchitecture and SoC integration.
- Experience with simulation, emulation, and formal verification tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proven experience mentoring and leading engineering teams.
- Nice-to-have: low-power design verification experience; familiarity with ML/AI-based verification approaches.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
