Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for planning and executing design verification activities to ensure first-pass silicon success for digital and mixed-signal products. Work closely with design and system teams to define verification strategy, develop testbenches, run regressions, and improve verification flows.

Position includes participation in TI's Career Accelerator Program providing structured technical and professional training.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop detailed verification plans in collaboration with design and system teams to achieve first-pass silicon success.
• Create and maintain testbenches, tests, and simulations at RTL and gate-level simulation (GLS).
• Execute coverage regressions and meet defined coverage goals.
• Track and communicate verification status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain scripts and regression tooling to automate regression submission and analysis.
• Drive continuous improvements in DV strategy, tools, methods, and flows.
• Collaborate with digital and analog design teams and participate in cross-functional learning and projects.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and competencies:

• Experience creating verification plans, testbenches, and RTL/GLS simulations.
• Experience running coverage regressions and analyzing coverage results.
• Familiarity with regression tools and scripting for automation.
• Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have:

• Rapid learning ability for new systems and processes.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and drive for results.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is specified.
