The Design Verification Engineer at AMD is responsible for planning, building, and executing verification processes for both new and existing features in the graphics processor IP. The role demands a meticulous approach to ensure final designs are free of bugs.
The selected individual will engage in deep collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architects, hardware, and firmware engineers, to understand and verify new feature implementations. This role requires a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
This position is suitable for candidates with extensive knowledge in ASIC verification and a solid grasp on debugging of firmware and RTL code.
Candidates should possess proficiency in IP level ASIC verification, as well as experience with debugging firmware, RTL code, UVM testbenches, and programming languages such as Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++. Familiarity with automation workflows, simulation tools, and strong scripting abilities are also expected.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required for this role.
