Design Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Join our cutting-edge team to validate and optimize high-speed interface IP solutions that power next-generation semiconductor technologies. You’ll work on industry-leading SerDes and DDR IP, ensuring compliance, performance, and reliability for global customers.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with 3+ years of experience in hardware design or validation.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop evaluation boards for High-Speed SerDes and DDR IP.
• Perform compliance and interoperability testing for PCIE, USB, and 10G-KR SerDes IP.
• Validate DDR4/LPDDR4X/DDR5/LPDDR5 IP against industry standards.
• Develop automated test scripts to streamline validation processes.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve IP validation issues.

Requirements

The following skills and qualifications are necessary:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware design or validation; SI/PI expertise is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of digital and analog circuit fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, BERT, and logic analyzers.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or C for automation.
• Excellent communication skills in English (and Chinese is a plus), strong problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
