Role Summary
Design for Test Engineer responsible for ownership of RTL block design, integration, and delivery for large SoC blocks. The role collaborates across chip architecture, design verification, physical design, DFT, and power teams to achieve first-tapeout quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include ownership of block design and integration through implementation and delivery.
- Own development and integration of large SoC blocks: internal/external IP integration, system and control bus logic, and Integration Specification.
- Integrate and optimize memories and hard macros required for assigned blocks.
- Run synthesis, generate netlists, and drive timing closure for assigned blocks.
- Coordinate with Chip Architecture, Design Verification, Physical Design, DFT, and power teams to meet tapeout targets.
- Develop and maintain methodology, flows, and checks to ensure design quality at each stage.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery with appropriate verification and implementation checks.

- Must-have: Practical experience owning RTL design, IP integration, synthesis/netlist flow, and timing closure for large, complex SoC blocks.
- Must-have: Ability to collaborate effectively with verification, physical design, DFT, and power teams to reach tapeout quality.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with front-end synthesis flows that include DFT insertion and netlist checks (CDC, logical equivalence).
- Nice-to-have: SOC IP integration for performance, low area, and low power; UPF/power island flows and familiarity with backend/DFT methodologies and tools.
- Nice-to-have: Track record of high-performance designs for low-power applications and timing closure on large designs.
Education Requirements
