As a Design Engineer II, you will join our IP Integration and QA engineering team, where your engineering skills will be applied to cutting-edge chip design. This role integrates your knowledge of digital design and verification with quality assurance practices, working on projects that are integral to modern technology.
Experience Level
This position is suitable for candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience in digital design or verification, particularly those familiar with the ASIC design flow.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
- Integrating RTL designs into robust subsystem configurations.
- Validating customer configurations through rigorous verification processes.
- Performing quality checks using LINT, RDC, and CDC tools.
- Developing scripts to enhance QA automation workflows.
- Debugging verification issues in collaboration with IP providers.
- Utilizing innovative tools and methodologies in EDA workflows.
Requirements
To be qualified for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with design flows such as RTL simulation, synthesis, and timing.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Perl, TCL, or Shell.
- Ability to learn new EDA tools quickly.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
