Role Summary
The Design Engineer II will develop optimized DSP software and libraries used in signal processing and neural network domains and maintain DSP firmware for multiple processor configurations. The role is based in Pune and supports development of production-quality implementations and documentation for engineering and customers.
Experience Level
Mid-level — 2–5 years of relevant or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop optimized DSP software and libraries for signal processing and neural network workloads.
- Update and maintain DSP firmware to add features and support different processor configurations.
- Document implementation details for internal engineering use and for customers.
Requirements
Key requirements and preferences.
- Must-have: 2–5 years of equivalent or relevant experience in DSP software/firmware development.
- Must-have: Demonstrated experience developing DSP software and libraries in the signal processing and/or neural networks domain.
- Must-have: Experience updating or maintaining DSP firmware across different processor configurations and producing engineering documentation.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with 3GPP codecs.
Education Requirements
BE / BTech / ME / MTech or equivalent degree (as stated in the posting).
