Role Summary
The Design Engineer in Micron's FLASH Group will design and validate on-chip controllers and mixed-signal circuitry for NAND flash products. The role includes architecture development, transistor-level circuit design, test planning, system integration, RTL implementation, firmware development, and full-chip verification.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design and validate on-chip controller logic and mixed-signal circuits for NAND flash devices.
- Develop architecture and product definitions; perform transistor-level circuit design.
- Create test plans and lead system integration and full-chip verification (Verilog).
- Implement RTL for controller hardware and develop firmware for NAND internal operations.
- Use design/verification CAD tools and scripting to support design and verification flows.
- Document designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills:
- Solid knowledge of Verilog and digital logic fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of analog circuits and mixed-mode design/validation.
- Experience with design/verification CAD tools such as ncsim, Design Compiler, Formality, PrimeTime.
- Proficiency with scripting (TCL or Perl).
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with NAND or other non-volatile memory design.
- Familiarity with AI tools and techniques to automate workflows and improve design execution.
