Data Center AI Hardware Support

Role Summary

Lead development of voltage plans, silicon characterization, Vmin analysis, and power-optimization for Data Center SoCs. Collaborate with product, firmware, PMIC, thermal, and validation teams to deliver production-ready voltage solutions across silicon milestones.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” typically 5–6 years of relevant industry experience in SoC power characterization, silicon validation, or related fields.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include driving voltage plan creation, analyzing silicon data, and enabling power and reliability targets for data-center SoCs.

  • Lead voltage-plan development and Vmin characterization across silicon bring-up milestones.
  • Perform silicon characterization and power optimization; troubleshoot silicon issues during bring-up and validation.
  • Analyze large characterization datasets to derive Vmin trends, correlations, and silicon health metrics.
  • Develop automation and analysis tools using Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for Vmin trends, voltage correlations, and silicon-health monitoring.
  • Collaborate with PTE, software, PMIC, thermal, and validation teams to define and release production voltage plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SoC power architecture, Vmin characterization, and voltage plan development.
  • Experience with silicon bring-up, validation, and power-optimization workflows.
  • Strong statistical data analysis skills and experience processing large datasets; experience with Python and SQL for automation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with PMIC and regulator architecture, power integrity, and PDN analysis.
  • Experience debugging hardware using schematics and oscilloscopes/CROs; understanding of semiconductor PVT processes.
  • Experience with Linux/Android debugging and data-center CPU/AI-accelerator platforms is advantageous.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering (e.g., ECE, EE, Computer Engineering), Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
