Customer Solutions and Applications Engineer

Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's Embedded solutions team to enable next-generation SoC-based products. You will work with hardware design teams and external customers to drive New Product Introduction (NPI), system integration, validation, and mass-production deployment.

The role includes leading a Partner Enablement team to ensure product quality, optimize system performance, and streamline customer integration.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready embedded solutions.

  • Work with Tier-1 and OEM customers to define Embedded architectures and roadmaps.
  • Integrate NVIDIA Embedded solutions with hardware, firmware, software, sensors, and AI algorithms.
  • Define system-level requirements and specifications for SoC-based solutions and maintain design documentation and test plans.
  • Lead Partner Enablement efforts to ensure product quality, reliability, and smooth integration.
  • Evaluate and optimize system performance, power efficiency, and thermomechanical integration.
  • Provide focused feedback to internal teams to influence future product and platform improvements.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience required to perform the role.

  • Expertise in thermal, mechanical, and electrical (TME) engineering spanning board design to integration of large-scale automotive and robotic systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience working on hardware/system integration or related engineering roles.
  • Proven track record of leading or coordinating multidisciplinary teams (hardware, firmware, software, validation, sensors, AI algorithm developers).
  • In-depth knowledge of AI hardware products and their applications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive NPI, validation, and transition to mass production.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate system-level trade-offs.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with automotive, robotics, or sensor system integrations and NVIDIA SoC platforms.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field β€” or equivalent practical experience.
