Customer Engagement Applications Engineer - SWIFT
Role Summary
Provide technical applications support for KLA's SWIFT patterned wafer inspection products. Field-based role partnering with customers and internal product and engineering teams to implement, optimize, and troubleshoot systems from development through high-volume production.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career. Typical background: 0–2 years of relevant work experience (Master's holders may qualify with 0 years; Bachelor's holders commonly with ~2 years).
Responsibilities
Primary duties include customer-facing product support, implementation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support and maintain all SWIFT products deployed at customer fabs.
- Coordinate and execute project-based activities with customers and internal product division teams.
- Provide technical applications support for development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems in collaboration with engineering and software teams.
- Assist sales in assessing product applicability and preparing detailed product specifications.
- Work with engineering teams to identify product improvements and implement plans.
- Analyze situations and data requiring in-depth evaluation to resolve problems.
