CPU Verification Engineer
Role Summary
The CPU Verification Engineer role involves developing test plans and simulation environments to validate and enhance CPU performance. You will join an innovative team dedicated to designing advanced CPUs and interconnect architectures.
Experience Level
Mid-level, requiring at least 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Development of test plans and strategies, simulation environments, and automation
- Enhancing legacy and compliance test suites
- Maintaining and developing simulator infrastructure
- Verifying complex micro-architectures
- Defining and developing tool chains for full system performance alignment
Requirements
Must-have qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of computer and system architecture fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Verilog/System Verilog
- Knowledge of verification methodologies for IP and SoC verification
- Experience with System Verilog, C/C++, Python
- Debugging experience on Silicon
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Detailed knowledge of ARM and/or x86 architecture
- Prior experience with CPU verification and RIS tools
- Strong programming background
Education Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
