Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on planning and executing verification for power management features and system use cases.

  • Develop comprehensive test plans for power management (boot, reset, clock gating, power gating, voltage/frequency management, limit management, throttling).
  • Implement and run simulation and formal verification flows; write checkers, assertions, and stimulus.
  • Verify power intent using UPF and related methodologies.
  • Collaborate with system architects, software, SoC, emulation, and FPGA teams to validate system-level use cases.
  • Enable verification on emulators and FPGA platforms and debug/triage failures in simulation, emulation, and silicon.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Practical experience in power management verification for CPUs or CPU-based SoCs (clock gating, power gating, DVFS/DCVS, throttling, reliability features).
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages; experience with embedded firmware (assembly and C).
  • Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog for verification tasks.
  • Experience using emulation and FPGA platforms for verification and capability to debug across simulation, emulation, and silicon.
