- Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled tools, environments, and workflows for HSV engineering teams.
- Build internal utilities, automation scripts, and services to expose AI capabilities for day-to-day engineering tasks.
- Integrate AI solutions with development environments, source repositories, internal knowledge stores, and enterprise platforms.
- Support evaluation systems: benchmarks, test datasets, quality metrics, regression checks, and reporting.
- Work with engineering users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve usability and adoption.
- Apply LLM and agent techniques to enable assisted workflows (knowledge retrieval, task automation, tool calling, orchestration).
- Implement guardrails, monitoring, access controls, and human-review processes for AI-assisted workflows.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience, followed by useful but optional qualifications.
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Experience building internal tools, automation, services, or engineering productivity solutions.
- Understanding of LLM concepts, AI agents, prompt engineering, tool calling, and RAG-based workflows.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and common development tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support engineering users.
- Very good spoken and written English.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience integrating AI tools with CI/CD systems, enterprise platforms, or access-control systems.
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, benchmarking, and model-quality metrics.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or AI-based knowledge retrieval systems.
- Familiarity with orchestration/agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen).
- Experience with additional languages such as C++ or TCL.
- Domain knowledge in EDA, VLSI design, design verification, emulation, or prototyping workflows (Palladium/Protium).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
